Model overview based on user reviews
The Janome Cover Pro II is a coverstitch machine that has received mixed reviews from users. Some users find it to be a decent and relatively inexpensive machine that works well with both thick and thin jersey fabrics, praising its performance and ease of use. However, others have encountered serious flaws, particularly with the thread tension regulators, which some describe as a manufacturing defect. There are concerns about the lack of quality control and the difficulty in adjusting the machine, leading to frustration for some users. Despite these issues, some users have found it to be a valuable addition to their sewing studio, appreciating its price and ease of maintenance. Overall, while the machine has potential, it seems to require careful handling and may not be suitable for everyone.

I sew on it and thick and thin jersey. Yes, I had to tinker when I got it, but the price is relatively inexpensive of all the stitchers. The needle is only #90, and there are no gaps. The looper thread is filament. In general, now, I sew everything and rejoice. Decent sewing machine. Now they are gone!!! use Janome Cover Pro II month or more i recommend it should buy |
The thread tension regulators for the needles cannot be adjusted because of the spring, it is too large, or rather too long, and there is no space to release the plates. This is a manufacturing defect. Because of this, even the housing panel above the regulators was very difficult to remove, because the spring moves the regulator scale to the left and it falls under the housing protrusions. Judging by the reviews on social networks, my case is not an isolated one. When I loosened the screws holding the regulator, the movement was quiet, the stitching did not tighten and the thread did not break. But the screws must be tightened, otherwise the regulator will fall apart. no there is no way to adjust the machine, in this form it is not suitable for work |
Excellent model, I don't understand where all the negativity is coming from. I bought it myself 2 months ago, and I'm just so pleased with it, haven't had any problems with threads or needles, it works like "clockwork." Everything is just super! So far I'm happy with everything. |
