Model overview based on user reviews
The Juki MO-735 is a versatile coverlock machine with a range of features, including 24 stitch options and a sewing speed of 1500 stitches per minute. However, user feedback highlights some significant drawbacks. While it is appreciated as not a bad overlocker, the machine's chain stitch is criticized as disgusting, and users find the threading and setup process to be very complicated and lengthy. Additionally, the machine lacks a smooth start, which can be challenging to manage. It is also extremely picky about material thickness, leading to issues like slipping, twisting, and uneven stitching, especially with thicker fabrics. Despite attempts to adjust the differential and presser foot pressure, these problems persist. Overall, while the Juki MO-735 offers some useful features, its performance on certain tasks and ease of use may not meet all users' expectations.
Pros

Cons

I'll have to buy another machine for straight stitching.
19 October 2017
I was thinking about buying a universal machine. This doesn't happen. I thought I would use a chain stitch to make regular straight stitches, but that didn’t work out that way. The machine is extremely picky about the thickness of the material. A little thicker - it slips and twists. Knowing this, when shortening the curtains, I decided to sew the edges by hand. I made a test stitch, everything was ok. And when I started sewing, it was terrible. Every 15 cm she made skips and loops with knots. Moreover, the fabric is of very high quality, non-stretchy, but this machine managed to move the top layer relative to the bottom, creating bubbles and puffs. What I tried to do: I adjusted the differential and changed the clamping force of the foot. Useless. And yet, just an explosive start at the pedal, catch and manage to grab the fabric.
Not a bad overlocker.
Disgusting chain stitch. No smooth start. Very complicated and lengthy threading and setup.
