The steam cleaner is indeed very compact and doesn't take up much space when stored. The price is justified by the refillable tank during operation. You can add water to the reservoir without unplugging the vacuum cleaner and without pausing your work. There's no need to wait long for the water to heat up. It takes about four minutes to heat cold water, and half that time if you start with hot water. The steam pressure is excellent. There are several steam supply regulators: maximum, medium, and child protection. By the way, besides child protection, this mode also protects adults: I recommend always activating it when changing attachments. It's extremely convenient for cleaning both in the house and in the car. It works well even with carpets and upholstery. Stains on the white carpet disappeared immediately, and older upholstery definitely looks better. For an ideal effect with cleaning tiles and grout, it's better to spray a tile cleaning solution on the surface first and then follow up with steam. Compact and doesn't take up much space. You can add water to the tank without turning off the power to the vacuum cleaner, and without pausing in operation. Cold water heats up for 4 minutes, and if you use hot water, then half as much. This is quite ambiguous. You can blow off all sorts of hard-to-reach places with steam. The grease on the tiles above the cooking surface seems to be removed, but in reality, it turned out that it simply dissolves well with the heat and the attachment just smears it in a thin layer. Visually clean, but the surface is sticky in some places - you need to finish with chemicals. 4. Cooking surface - the same story. I bought a steam cleaner for disinfecting bedroom furniture and floors (Karcher's website claims it kills 99.9% of household germs). I've only tested it in the bathroom so far. For disinfection purposes, it will be useless, and I'll explain why below. Conclusion: the device has a VERY limited range of applications. In the bathroom (2.5 years since renovation), I managed to knock off a thick lime scale buildup from the lower part of the faucet behind the tap, where you don't usually reach. It doesn't soften soap scum from the sink and acrylic bath at all. The same applies to thin limescale on the surfaces of taps - what can be scrubbed off with a damp sponge can also be scrubbed off with this device. It was quite interesting with the tiles: it doesn't remove lime scale, but it did wash out some of the grout from the seams. When cleaning the toilet, the smell combined with steam is quite strong; as for disinfection, I doubt it, since the steam doesn't have time to heat the surface, it just condenses. Now for the most interesting part: I tried to put my hand in the steam jet: at a distance of about 20-25 cm, it's just hot steam, closer, it's warmer. But if you compare it to steam from a kettle at the same distance, it's noticeably cooler. I called Karcher today, and they said that the steam is 70-80 degrees and the device isn't intended for disinfection, as they can't confirm if it kills germs. It's pointless to try cleaning the same sofa if it only heats the topmost layer of fabric. In the end, it's almost a useless thing, because you can't clean anything without detergent. Can be refilled without stopping operation, relatively quiet operation, high quality construction, really high pressure low steam temperature, not suitable for disinfection, although this is stated on the manufacturer's website.
