This summer, the whole family gathered to go to the Sea of Azov, and they decided to go as a savage, by car and with a tent. True, we did not have a tent at that time. I chose this model for its spaciousness and the presence of two separate bedrooms. There are four of us: my wife and I plus two daughters, aged 13 and 14, and I really wanted my wife and I to have a separate cabin. Now I will explain why I did not take a model designed for four. The fact is that manufacturers indicate the maximum figure at which there is very little free space as the nominal capacity of tents. Believe me, resting for four in a six-seater tent is an order of magnitude more comfortable than in a four-seater, and the difference in price is not that big. The main advantage of this tent is its size. It can comfortably accommodate six, even eight people, but four occupants is just what the doctor ordered. The large vestibule is also useful; you can store a lot of things there. The tent is easy and simple to set up, I would even say very simple, but you still need to read the instructions. I even watched an additional video online. After a little practice, two people can set it up from the packed position to "ready for use" in less than 10 minutes. Thanks to the double-layer design, there's almost no condensation problem. Excess moisture, of course, does accumulate, but compared to simple single-layer models, the atmosphere in this tent is significantly more comfortable. It passed the rain test with honor. However, there were only two rains, and both were relatively small. Big weight, as much as 11 kg. But since she rides in the trunk, it does not bother me. It's long and tedious. |
If you go to a stationary camp for a large amount of time, then the model is very successful and comfortable. It's too much trouble to set up and assemble for a couple of days, it's not worth it. Although we have been going hiking for a very long time, we took this model specifically for camping, for comfort. To place it once, and have not just a place to sleep at night, but the most comfortable place to stay for the entire two weeks of travel. In general, we didn’t make a mistake. We travel in cars with two families, so the weight of the tent is not important, in this case it is as much as 11 kilograms, and God bless him. Of course, you have to struggle during installation, but then you can relax and enjoy two bedrooms and a spacious living room. And there’s even a porch. Very decent size. You can sit in the fresh humid air during the rain and enjoy nature. The water permeability of the day according to the instructions is only 3000 mm.water column, which is considered not a very large value, usually it is 6000-10000, but we have never had any problems with this, although there have been rains. The seams are sealed, nothing leaked, neither from above nor from below. The design has 2 windows for ventilation, so there are no problems with stuffiness. Especially if the vestibule is open and there is a breeze outside. The living rooms have useful pockets for storing various small items. Comfortable. It keeps warm well, we traveled with it even in quite late autumn. Pleasant colors - green and gray, not stressful, I don’t like show off bright colors. The arches for the frame look a little flimsy, although they do their job and have not failed yet. There are some problems with the installation. It’s probably impossible to cope alone. Adequate weight and dimensions

Competent layout
The oblong (5.1 metres in length with a width of 2.2 m) half-barrel shape is set by four fibreglass arcs 9.5 mm thick. The only exit is complemented not only by a window, but also by a canopy protecting from the sun and precipitation, which is formed by two steel arcs.
On either side of the entrance are two separate rooms. Each offers a bed for three people measuring 180x210 cm with a window, a mosquito and inner pockets. This arrangement of recreation areas allows you to divide Kemping Narrow 6PE into two families, other variations are also possible, for example, with division into children's and adult parts.
Between the two rooms there is a large vestibule 150 cm long. It can easily fit not only the equipment of tourists, but also a table, so that when it rains you can eat or play board games here. However the height of the vestibule is only 150 cm, which means that an adult will not become full-length, and for a camping model, this is a disadvantage.
Modern and durable materials
The awning of the tent is made of polyethylene with an impregnation that provides the minimum necessary protection against rains of 3000 mm of water column. It is treated with the usual compositions today (from fire and ultraviolet radiation), got glued seams and reinforced corners that increase tensile strength. The material of the bottom — reinforced polyethylene — is protected from both getting wet and abrasion.
