Big box for everything

Tool storage systems are the “horse” of the Israeli company Keter. It produces such products not only under its own brand, but also "on the side" (on orders from manufacturers such as NEO, Hart, etc.). The Keter Master Pro Sliding Toolbox is one of the most spacious containers in its range. Its dimensions are 616x378x415 mm, the total volume is 65.3 liters. Since the box is heavy (even when empty, it weighs 7 kg), it has transport wheels and a long retractable handle, by which it can be carried like a travel suitcase. The wheels are large (it is convenient to overcome thresholds) and rubberized (do not leave scratches even on parquet or laminate).

In the main (large) compartment of the drawer, even a large power tool, such as a circular saw or a rotary hammer, can fit. The lid of the container consists of two parts. Thanks to the sliding mechanism on bearings, they move to the sides easily and smoothly, like table drawers on good furniture fittings. Sliding halves are locked with a metal central latch of a rotary type with an eye for a padlock.

In one of the halves of the cover there is a compartment for storing small hand tools, such as pliers, wire cutters and screwdrivers. The compartment is divided in two by a divider that can be removed to resize the compartments. The second half is an organizer closed with a transparent lid. Inside it — six removable trays for all sorts of little things. Next to them are niches designed to store bits or other items of the same size.

Are there analogues?

In addition to this box, STAYER 38107-24, Stanley 1-97-503 and Zubr 38133-24 have similar sizes. The last of them is generally an almost complete copy of Keter. But then decide for yourself which of these brands you have more confidence.
