Alternative to a Moped
In its design, the Kukirin model more closely resembles a compact moped or scooter in the spirit of a Vespa, rather than a classic electric scooter. The device features a wide platform with a wooden deck and large 14-inch wheels. The running gear is complemented by efficient disc brakes and a front suspension fork. Another feature of the Kukirin C1 Pro is the presence of two seats: the main one for the driver and an additional one for the passenger, located on the rear fender. A basket for a backpack, bags, or other items can be mounted at the front. Considering the allowable load of up to 120 kg, this transport is suitable not only for everyday trips but also for shopping outings or even joint trips of an adult with a child.
Extended Autonomy
The electric part of the model includes a 500W motor and a 26Ah battery. The motor can briefly output up to 800W, accelerate the transport up to 45 km/h, and assist in climbing slopes up to 15 degrees. The battery provides a solid range — up to 100 km, which is often enough even for trips outside the city.
The strong points of the equipment include a full set of lighting, including turn signals, a compact display on the handlebar panel, and rearview mirrors. Additionally, the braking system supports energy recuperation.
The drawbacks include a partially integrated seat and frame construction: the soft saddle can be removed, but the metal support remains in place, though it practically does not interfere when riding standing up. Other downsides include a significant weight — almost 34 kg — and a lengthy battery charge time, which can take up to 12 hours. Nonetheless, if a large range and the ability to ride sitting down, including for two people, are important to you, the Kukirin C1 Pro is definitely worth considering.
