A line of large-sized 17-inch laptops from Lenovo, built on the basis of entry-level and mid-level processors Ryzen 3 and Ryzen 5 (Barcelo family, Zen 3). They belong to the entry level, are part of the universal line of IdeaPads released in 2023, designed to solve a wide range of tasks of initial and medium complexity: from working with texts and tables, to writing and compiling code, audio processing, prototyping in conditional Max MSP and Pure Data .

Depending on the specific modification, display variations may differ. In more affordable variations, there are 17-inch TN + film screens with a modest resolution of 1600x900 pixels and limited viewing angles. At the same time, slightly more expensive versions of the IdeaPad 3 use more familiar Full HD screens based on IPS technology with a large margin of brightness and contrast, better color reproduction and wider viewing angles.

All IdeaPad 3 17ABA7 laptops are equipped with a full-size chiclet keyboard with Numpad, and built-in LED backlighting of the keys will help when working with text materials in low light conditions. For video communication, the series devices are equipped with a modern network card with Wi-Fi 5, a webcam and standard stereo speakers. However, a case weighing just over 2 kg is not the lightest and most elegant solution for constant transportation.
