Not a bad air conditioner for home use, but I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to noise.
25 May 2016
I purchased this air conditioner based on a friend's recommendation, who is quite familiar with this type of equipment. I installed it at home in a large 18 square meter room. It performed well, but I wasn't overly impressed either; it's just an ordinary mid-range model with its own pros and cons. Overall, it fully justifies its price, so I have every reason to consider the purchase a success.
Cute appearance. I've always liked the blue backlight, and combined with the compact size and soft lines of the body, it creates a very pleasing and inviting exterior. But it's not just about looks; it features a modern, efficient, and durable compressor from Toshiba-GMCC. Thanks to this, the air conditioner boasts a high energy efficiency class - A. It cools the air excellently, especially quickly in turbo mode. Admittedly, it does sound like a vacuum cleaner during this, but thankfully not for long. It can also heat the air, but only performs satisfactorily when the "outside" air temperature is above zero. I was pleased with the timer feature, a useful function. It comes with a three-year warranty.
The main drawback of this device is its noisiness. In turbo mode, it makes a lot of noise, at medium fan speed it's average, and at low speed or night mode, it's distinctly audible. Thankfully, the nature of the noise isn't unpleasant and doesn't disrupt sleep. The heating mode works efficiently only at above-zero temperatures. When it's below zero, the temperature of the heated air drops sharply.
