A premium class split system integrated into the LG smart home system due to the presence of a Wi-Fi module on board. By connecting to the World Wide Web, it is possible to operate the key parameters of the air conditioner remotely. Thus, through the LG SmartThinQ mobile application, the user has the right to set the operating mode of the unit (cooling, heating, dehumidification or ventilation), set performance limits and the desired temperature, or diagnose the device components.

Also in the programme for the smartphone, data on the consumed energy is recorded and the residual life of the filters is displayed. Along with the usual filter elements, antibacterial and deodorizing filters are installed under the hood of the LG PM-09SP. The split system operates under the control of a quiet and economical inverter motor, which is covered by a 10-year warranty from the manufacturer. The air conditioner starts up for heating at an outside air temperature of up to -10 °C and maintains the desired coolness at a temperature of up to 48 °C overboard. Of the branded features in the arsenal of the model, a special mention is given to the Comfort Air mode, which evenly distributes air flows without directing them to a person.
