Interesting design
The portable speaker from the Korean brand LG immediately stands out with its futuristic design. The body is made in the form of a capsule, which makes it comfortable to grip. However, it is worth considering that neither a strap nor a mount for it is provided in the design. Passive emitters are located at an angle and are complemented by customizable backlighting, which is controlled using a button on the body or through the LG XBOOM mobile application (available for iOS and Android). The only caveat is that the Soft-touch coating easily collects fingerprints, so the body will have to be cleaned regularly.
The shape of the speaker is intended for horizontal use only, as it is simply unstable in a vertical position. Despite its relatively compact dimensions, the weight of the device is almost 1.5 kg, which makes it quite stable - the speaker does not vibrate or move when playing music. IPX5 moisture protection allows you to use it not only indoors, but also outdoors, protecting it from rain and splashes of water. However, it is not recommended to immerse the speaker in water.

A particularly interesting fact is LG's collaboration with the British company Meridian Audio, which has been developing premium acoustics for over 40 years. The manufacturer does not disclose the exact technical details, but as a result, the speaker really produces a clear and pleasant sound.
Additionally, the model supports such functions as speakerphone thanks to the built-in microphone, connecting two or even hundreds of devices, the ability to simultaneously connect to several gadgets (Multipoint), as well as the AAC codec for improved sound transmission via Bluetooth.
