Rare model with No Frost system

The German manufacturer has finally decided to introduce a small format freezer in 2020 with a progressive defrosting system, which has long become the norm for large products. The compact freezer with an automatic defrosting system No Frost Liebherr IGN 1624 compares favorably with its counterparts, most of which are equipped with static systems. In addition, the model contains the entire amount of branded innovations that allow the device to be attributed to the premium product line, which has an appropriate price. With a standard width and depth, the device has a “higher height” of 87.2 cm, which can hardly be hidden in the 88 cm niche. With a usable capacity of only 84 liters, the freezer compartment was able to accommodate 4 deep FrostSafe closed drawers, any of which can be removed to expand the food storage space (VarioSpace). The device works quite economically, consuming only 145 kWh per year (class A ++).

Power-off temperature control system

The power of daily freezing is small (12 kg) and matches the low noise level of the compressor, the volume of which, when turned on, does not exceed 37 dB. The duration of cold storage, which is an average of 15 hours, is also not particularly impressive. But the SuperFrost quick freezing system with a low cooling temperature threshold helps to really save energy due to the high speed of the process. A feature of the model is the FrostControl function, which is more typical for "adult" devices. It helps to keep track of the maximum heating temperature of frozen food during a power failure, allowing you to predict how long it will be stored in the future. The user promptly receives a sound notification about violation of the temperature mode of cooling and about the left open door of the freezer, which is duplicated by a light signal indicator on the internal control panel, equipped with push-button switches and a MagicEye digital display.
