For home and travel
The Maestro iron has an affordable price and belongs to the category of road models. This is evidenced by the design features and some additional features. Firstly, the iron is quite compact in size and light in weight. Secondly, it has a folding handle, which when folded further reduces the dimensions and saves space in a bag or suitcase. Thirdly, there is a voltage switch on the case - 120 or 230 V. Thanks to this, the device is able to connect to different electrical networks and work in almost any country in the world.
Dry ironing and steaming
Despite its compact size and affordable price, the model has almost all the same functions as full-size household irons. But in terms of power and performance, of course, it does not reach them, so it copes with complex tasks much worse. The power is 1100 W, and the classic rotary control allows you to choose one of three temperature modes depending on the type of fabric. In addition to dry ironing, water spray and steaming are available, and not only a constant supply of steam, but also a short burst of steam. The manufacturer also claims the possibility of vertical steaming, but taking into account the not very powerful steam boost, you definitely shouldn’t count on replacing a hand-held steamer. In this case, there is no anti-drip system, so when choosing a low temperature, water may simply pour out of the sole instead of steam, leaving wet spots on clothes.
In addition, the iron has a non-stick soleplate that is easy to clean and won't leave shiny marks on fabric (provided you select the right temperature settings). Periodic self-cleaning of scale will help extend the service life and maintain steam performance, when steam at the maximum flow level removes remaining scale and other deposits through the steam openings.
