I use about a month. The main criterion for buying this model was that the kettle has no windows and has a solid bottom and the hope that such a leak will not occur. The effect of the thermos turned out to be a nice bonus. A full kettle boils in 2 minutes. Noisy like many models. Keeps warm for a long time. Wide mouth - easy to clean. All good! When boiling unfiltered water, scale builds up quite quickly on the bottom along the heating element. However, it is easily removed with vinegar.
