Model overview based on user reviews
The Manfrotto Compact Action tripod is highly regarded for its responsiveness of the head when fixing cameras, making it ideal for travel and walks. Users appreciate its compactness and find it a great match for lightweight cameras, such as the Canon EOS M50, especially when using compact lenses. Despite some criticism about the noise during intensive head rotation, it's noted that at an adequate speed, the noise is not an issue. The tripod is praised for its value, with no significant drawbacks for its price and size, making it a "must-have" for those with compact camera setups.
Pros
Cons
Buy it - you won't regret it, but only if you have a compact camera with lightweight, compact lenses. I shoot with Canon EOS M50 cameras (maximum load on the tripod when working with a Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L lens - with an adapter - 1045g). The responsiveness of the head when fixing the camera - I additionally bought two more plates ("buttons") for the second Canon M50 camera and for the EF-M adapter. For such a price and compactness, there are no drawbacks. "Experts" criticizing the noise of the head during its intensive rotation should remember the "rolling shutter" - budget cameras (like tripods) are not designed for quick movements and panoramas. At an "adequate" speed - there's no noise... use Manfrotto Compact Action few months |
