Improved filtration system

The decentralized supply and exhaust ventilation system of the German brand Marley MEnV-180 has a design typical for wall-mounted installations. Thus, a plastic air duct with additional thermal insulation, which allows the heat exchanger to be operated at temperatures down to -30 °C, is installed in the wall (hole diameter 180 mm). There is a protective cover on the outside, and a decorative panel on the inside. Inside the duct there is a fan, a ceramic heat exchanger and a filtration system.

In addition to the traditional G3 filter, which protects the fan from dust and other contaminants, the Marley MEnV-180 contains another filter cassette. It provides the highest class of coarse cleaning G4 and captures at least 90% of large dust particles, traps smoke and soot, which is important for those who live near industries or heavy traffic.

Ceramic heat exchanger

The honeycomb structure of the heat exchanger increases the area of contact with air and is designed to improve heat transfer. As a result, the temperature difference between the incoming street and room air, as a rule, will not exceed 3 - 5 ° C (the efficiency of the recuperator is 85%).

Optimal for small rooms

Marley MEnV-180 supports three operating speeds. At minimum productivity is 16 m³/h, and at maximum - 37 m³/h. It is proposed to use the recuperator in rooms up to 30 m², although for such an area the productivity of one installation is not enough. The solution would be to use at least two devices that are capable of working synchronously, exchanging data over a radio channel.

Accordingly, power consumption ranges from 3 to 7 W. The noise level at maximum speed does not exceed 35 dB, but this is the value at a distance of 3 meters from the device. If the recuperator is closer, it can cause discomfort and interfere, for example, with falling asleep quickly.

Intuitive controls

By default, the model operates with regeneration (heat conservation), and for the warm season, a summer mode is proposed, which activates the operation of a constant air outflow. The device can be controlled using a compact remote control included in the package.
