Marshall's MG30CFX combo amplifier is a solid state-of-the-art transistorized amplifier with a plethora of settings and effects that allow you to fully experience the beauty of the sound of an electric guitar.

Solid assembly

The design of the model is more restrained in contrast to the classic "Marshall" — no "gold" in the design, everything is black-white-chrome, but assembled, of course, with high quality and accuracy. The texture of the upholstery is pleasant and durable to the touch. The weight of the cabinet is just over 10 kg, which is even small for its size (420x480x225 mm). In general, there are no complaints about the assembly and design, but we still found one drawback — the power cord does not disconnect from the case, which is not very convenient during transportation.

Benefits of digital technologies

The CFX line is Marshall's first "digital" line. Any instrument sounds good with it, even the Lead Star of 1979, by emulating a tube amp, essentially simulating a "tube sound" with analogue modeling. The maximum power of our combo is 30 W, which is enough for both individual rehearsals and sets in small clubs: the sound is pleasant even at full overload. There are four channels with adjustments — clean (Clean), crunch (Crunch), OD-1 (overdrive almost like in the cult "Marshall" tube amplifier JCM900) and OD-2 (even sharper overload).

Adjustments

Switching between channels is carried out both on the front panel and through the optional foot controller — footswitch. From the settings: 3-band equalizer, two reverb presets, gain controls (Gain) and master volume. There are also Chorus, Flanger, Phaser, Octave and Delay effects with level adjustment and manual delay time using the Tap Tempo button. 4 manual settings can be saved as presets. Separately, it is worth noting the headphone output for “silent” playing and the line input, into which you can connect the player to play backing tracks in order to rehearse under them.

Perfect for a first experience

Numerous settings and effects, along with ease of control and classic "Marshall" sound make the MG30CFX a versatile choice for both the beginner and the more experienced guitarist. An excellent model at a reasonable price for rehearsals, recording and club performances.
