Matari is one of the best Japanese manufacturers of mobile gasoline and diesel generators. And when I needed an economical generator with the ability to automatically start in the event of a mains power failure, I immediately remembered this company. I have already encountered their 2.5 kW gasoline car and I was very pleased with it. But, since in this case it was necessary to focus on power (at least 3.5-4 kW) and efficiency, they took the diesel model. With similar similar power, diesel engines consume significantly less fuel. According to my careful estimates, the operation of this diesel generator in terms of fuel costs about 35-40% cheaper than the gasoline version. Of course, he also has disadvantages, but about them below. The original layout - the generator is hidden in a casing-chest on the wheels, and its top cover, which provides access to the tank and engine, is locked. The maximum load that we hang on this generator is 4 kW. Its nominal value is 4.5 kW, so it works in comfortable conditions. The voltage is obtained in the region of 215-210 volts. It has a convenient and fully functional autostart in a variety of climatic conditions. Problems are possible only if air enters the fuel system or in severe frost (colder than -20 degrees). Very economical, especially in comparison with petrol models. Comes with a full two year manufacturer's warranty. Incredibly heavy. 170kg of weight is no joke, and if you can move it around the territory on wheels (would they be a little more!), then manually lifting it into the back of a truck will not work. Ideally, a lift solves this problem, but we usually pave a ramp and roll along it. The first start of the generator was not easy, but the seller warned us about this. He earned steadily from about the eighth - tenth time, but, after running in, in almost 100% of cases it starts on the first try. |
