Supply of "clean" air

Metabo Basic 250-24 W OF is an oil-free compressor for domestic use. This design allows the unit to work even on an inclined surface (it does not need a perfectly horizontal position, as for oil). This model provides clean air without any impurities, which is very necessary in the operation of the dental unit, or in the production of certain food and pharmaceuticals. However, the lack of oil affects the rapid wear of parts.

Design features

A safety valve is located on the left side of the housing, which can be opened forcibly and reduce the excess pressure in the receiver in case of failure of the automation. The pressure regulator will allow you to set the number of atmospheres that you need at the outlet for the operation of the pneumatic tool. It gives out a compressor up to 8 bar, which is quite enough to connect an airbrush, blow or sandblast gun. Below is a tap that allows you to simultaneously bleed air and drain water from the tank.

Convenient transportation

The Metabo compressor has large rubberized wheels and an angled front handle that allows you to conveniently and quickly roll the device to the desired location. By the way, its weight is only 24 kg. The receiver is designed for 24 liters - this is a small volume, and during prolonged operation it will often turn on / off (for additional air pumping). A performance of 220 L / min is enough for most household pneumatic tools, with the exception of demolition hammers and impact wrenches.
