Model overview based on user reviews
The Metabo P 2000 G surface pump is generally well-received for its thoughtful design and reliable performance, effectively raising water from 8 meters to 4 meters as advertised. However, users have noted some drawbacks, such as the inclusion of a low-quality PTFE tape and the pump's tendency to develop loud bearing noise after nearly a year of use. This suggests potential issues with long-term reliability, as the bearings may need replacement to prevent further damage. Despite these concerns, the pump remains functional, though some users feel the price is overpriced by 30 percent. Overall, the Metabo P 2000 G offers solid performance but may require maintenance sooner than expected.
Pros
Cons
My opinion is that the price is overpriced by 30 percent, although the pump is still alive. The first impression upon purchase is good. Made thoughtfully. Raises water from 8 meters to 4 meters. Performance is as advertised The PTFE tape included is a useless low-quality accessory. Worked for almost a year on a potable water well. The bearing noise is already quite loud. There is no chance of it working problem-free for three years. The bearings will have to be replaced, or else the seal or winding will fail. |
