The tool has a two-speed gearbox (900/2100 rpm), a regulator for controlling the rotation speed of the chuck and an electronic module that maintains the speed at a given level, regardless of the load. The advantages of the Metabo UHEV 2860-2 Quick Set rotary hammer also include the presence of a safety clutch and a vibration absorption system (the back of the tool is connected to the gear housing through a damper).
