Photos - Air Conditioner Midea MSMA-07HRN1-Q ION 20 m²
Outdated Product
The basic model in the home format split-system line, Blanc, works in modes for cooling, heating, dehumidifying, and air circulation in rooms up to 20 m². The air conditioner's operation is controlled by a non-inverter type compressor with an energy efficiency class marked as A. The system uses R410A refrigerant. In addition to its primary functions, the Midea MSMA-07HRN1-Q ION fulfills the mission of purifying the air in the room and enriching it with negatively charged ions. Nanoparticles bind harmful impurities, making the atmosphere fresh and healthy. Compared to its "classmates," the model stands out with the unique crystal shape of the outdoor unit, while the indoor unit is notable for the rounded bulge on the front panel. The air conditioner's software as...sets include functions like turbo cooling, memorizing the louver position, auto-restart, auto-defrost, and self-diagnosis of components to identify issues at an early stage. More precise maintenance of specified microclimate parameters is achieved by the fact that the indoor unit's control processor receives temperature data from a sensor installed in the remote control (Follow Me).

Model overview based on user reviews
The Midea MSMA-07HRN1-Q ION air conditioner is a budget-friendly, reliable option from a reputable Chinese manufacturer known for its experience in refrigeration equipment. It effectively cools a 20 m² room, maintaining a comfortable temperature despite external conditions. Users appreciate its affordable price and full 60-month warranty. However, some have noted that the actual room temperature can differ by about two degrees from the set temperature, which might be due to sensor calibration issues. The unit is generally quiet, but the outdoor unit can be noisy, which may disturb neighbors. Overall, it is considered a good value for money, especially for those seeking a simple and effective cooling solution.

good model, liked it
19 June 2017
I needed a small and inexpensive air conditioner for a 16 square meter room. I browsed through online store websites, read descriptions and struggled hard against the temptation to buy a cheaper model. Prices for split systems under five thousand hryvnias are very appealing, no doubt. But I wasn't too keen on experimenting with some Saturn or Leberg. Five thousand is also money, after all )) Therefore, I decided to go for a foolproof budget option from a reputable manufacturer – Midea. We have at least three such air conditioners at work, and they have been running for the fifth year now. I checked with our "facility manager" about their maintenance, and he said that in these four and a half years, they have only been cleaned three times. None of them required refueling or repairs.
This is an honest or, as appliance sellers like to call it, "factory" China. Honestly, this is a questionable phrasing because Chinese factories can produce such junk that you wonder how it's even possible to sell it. But this product is from a completely different category. It turns out that the Chinese company Midea has been dealing with refrigeration equipment for almost 40 years and values its brand, so even a budget model of this brand fairly justifies its price. The price, by the way, is not high, I paid only 6,500. And it's definitely worth that money. The room cools down reliably! It doesn't matter what the temperature is outside, but in the room where this unit is installed, it will be the set number of degrees in just half an hour... well, or two degrees more )) After all, these are the Chinese, they can't do without some minor cheating. But at least there's a full warranty from the manufacturer, attention - 60 months!!!
The actual temperature in the room differs from the set one by at least two degrees. The difference is stable and what is its cause is not clear. Either the lead sensor in the indoor unit really has such a temperature due to the suction of cold air, or simply the calibration is incorrect. However, this does not affect the work at all, you just need to remember about these two degrees.
Normal such a Chinese for a large room

They hung such an air conditioner in the laboratory at work. I work in a well-known metropolitan university, and although education in our country is officially free, but apart from the salaries for teachers, methodologists and engineers, we don’t receive money from the state for anything else. We have a technical specialty, we need to update expensive equipment, buy computers, but the rector did not have money for these needs, and, as he says, will not. Earn, they say, yourself on contractual work. We earn, but what fool will give this money to the university? )) The air conditioner in our room was still Soviet-style, model BK-1500. I must say that with repairs and refueling he held out until about 2014. That is, he worked for about thirty years! The summers of 2015 and 2016 were hellish without air conditioning. Already in the second half of June, the temperature in the room went off scale over 30 degrees. And only in the spring of this year, the three of us finally gathered our strength, that is, we chipped in money and spent this device as a purchase under a half-dead, half-fictitious economic contract.
This is a simple Chinese air conditioner from an honest and more or less reliable manufacturer. A similar model has been working for me for three years at home and so far everything is fine with it. It’s too early to draw conclusions about reliability here, but I can tell you about power and ease of use. The laboratory room is old, built in the 30s of the last century, the ceiling height is 3.5 meters, the area is about 27 square meters, the last floor, the windows are to the southwest. In general, the problem for the air conditioner is not the easiest, the volume of air is large and the sun through the attic and windows is not weak. But he manages. We set the temperature at 24-25 degrees, after a warm night, he gains it in about 30-35 minutes. We even got the hang of using a timer. In fact, according to the rules, the room must be de-energized, then if this is not done, and the timer is set to 8:15, then by the beginning of the working day, that is, by 9:00, the temperature in the laboratory will already be pleasant. It makes little noise during operation, and it is not noticeable in a working environment, the same computers buzz with fans louder. The remote control is simple, practical and understandable even without reading the manual, although it is still necessary to read it.
The outdoor unit is still a noise maker, it buzzes notably. The length of the freon line was limited to ten meters. Because of this, I had to hang it not where I wanted, but closer to the window.

Terrible Chinese air conditioner. Didn't live up to expectations.
A scandal happened with the neighbors. The outdoor units are very noisy!
We don't know what to do - the service is avoiding us, saying that we knew it was cheap Chinese.
