MIE Unico

Small and practical

The debutant of the summer 2020 from the MIE brand is a handheld garment steamer, which is characterized by its low weight (800 grams) and increased ease of storage and/or transportation. The latter feature is largely associated with small dimensions and the presence of a folding handle pressed against the body: a similar mechanism is provided by many road hair dryers.

A transparent water tank is placed on top of the housing. It also favorably affects the compactness of MIE Unico as it only holds 100 mL. This capacity is enough to steam several garments, as it provides up to 10 minutes of continuous operation, plus it supports refilling on the go.

Inside the device there is a heating element with a power of 1000 W, thanks to which steam can be supplied already 25 seconds after being switched on. The intensity of steam generation reaches 20 g / min, as a result, the model handles well with the elimination of wrinkles on delicate fabrics, such as wool or silk, is able to quickly direct arrows on trousers, align cuffs and collars on blouses and shirts.

Steaming with MIE Unico can be done both vertically and horizontally. In the latter case, it is recommended to combine steam treatment with classic smoothing due to the action of a compact aluminium sole on the fabric. The benefit of water and stains from it should not appear on things, since there is an anti-drip system.

Extended equipment

The steamer comes with a measuring cup for filling the reservoir, a heat-resistant mitten to prevent burns, and a brush attachment. It will help lift the pile on fur or wool products and clean the dust. It is proposed to store both the model and all accessories in a complete fabric bag.

MIE Unico is a good choice for both business travel care and home use with small steam volumes.
