An indispensable helper in the modern kitchen
23 March 2019
I can't say we use the multicooker very often, probably not more than once every two weeks, but nevertheless, it has never let us down in the 3 years we've been using it. It comes with an excellent bowl that is easy to clean, and nothing sticks to it during cooking. There's also a handy spatula-spoon made of special plastic included in the set to avoid scratching the bowl, as well as a recipe book. Personally, I like the frying function the most—I use it often for cooking meat or potatoes. Compared to a frying pan, it has several advantages: no need to stir often, nothing falls out when stirring like it can with a frying pan, and it's very easy to clean afterwards. We also make porridge and bake an apple charlotte in it (mix the batter with apples, pour it into the bowl, turn it on, and forget about it—quick and convenient). Huge plus for the design—probably the most beautiful appliance in the kitchen, it looks like a cool motorcycle helmet!

If you don't have money for Cook4Me, then take this one (MK 706A)

Very easy to operate, detailed instructions for cooking rice for all occasions (volume charts for each type of rice), large menu text, 5 buttons, I definitely recommend it for parents/grandparents.
Carrying handle, no condensate collection container, convenient menu. Soups, porridge, stews, roasts, etc., cooks excellently.
No cookbook, but it is more of a nuance than a drawback.

good model, liked it.

Cool multicooker, I took a long time to decide on it and am happy as an elephant in the end. Externally, it’s just a doll, a decoration for the entire kitchen, I really like the color and shape itself. I made it a rule to start the day every day with porridge, before I simply didn’t have the strength to do it all, but now everyone gets up, the smell is amazing and a warm breakfast just needs to be put on a plate. Still, I think it’s a useful habit, especially since it turns out delicious and the child eats it with pleasure. Another plus: when we went on vacation, we took it with us, plus a couple of packs of different cereals, and for the first days, when we were finding our way in an unfamiliar city, it was easy to have something to snack on, and, in principle, we cooked in it almost every day. I’ve never liked soups, but now I make them: I chopped the vegetables, threw everything into the pan and pressed the button to simmer for an hour, voila, the soup is delicious and ready. I don’t know how it happens that all the vegetables and everything else in the soup are ready at the same time, but that’s how it turns out, and it doesn’t get overcooked, nothing remains raw, it turns out delicious.
I didn’t find any drawbacks, except for the cost of components; it’s better to take care of the saucepan and not drop it, otherwise you either won’t be able to buy it later or it will cost as much as half a multicooker.

Moulinex has been producing kitchen appliances for over 80 years. Quality, reliability, and stylish design of its products have long been acclaimed. The MK 7051 multicooker is a prime example of this.

Programs

Those who love this brand know that its products are not cheap, so when choosing a Moulinex multicooker costing up to $100, you must be prepared for a modest functionality compared to its impressive design.

Onboard, we have 9 automatic programs plus a steaming mode and... that's it. The device is essentially positioned as a multicooker-rice cooker, so it focuses on preparing porridge, grains, and naturally, rice. To somehow sweeten the pill, the manufacturer equipped the appliance with a mythical innovation called the "Fuzzy Logic" intelligent cooking system, or in other words, an auto-cooking mode that selects the cooking time and temperature for foods on its own. We still didn't understand how this differs from the standard set of automatic programs, but we appreciate the marketing maneuver.

Ceramic Bowl

What really delighted us is the ceramic bowl with a five-layer non-stick coating, a worthy alternative to Teflon, which is basically a type of plastic. Ceramic, however, is easier to clean, less prone to sticking, and doesn't release harmful substances into the air when heated due to the lack of those substances.

We didn't like the recipe book. The cooking times for many dishes are incorrect, resulting in the food being either undercooked or overcooked, so it's better to use your own skills or other recipe sources.

Overall, the Moulinex MK 7051 fully lives up to its reputation as a quality budget multicooker. Additionally, it's relatively economical, consuming only 0.75 kW/hour, which means it cooks deliciously and affordably.
