Model overview based on user reviews
The Navitel E707 Magnetic is a GPS navigator designed for cars, featuring a large 7-inch capacitive touch screen and a reliable magnetic mount. Users appreciate its build quality and pre-installed Navitel Navigator software, which includes lifetime map updates. However, the device lacks real-time traffic information, which some users find limiting. The quick satellite search and route planning are praised, though the route planning with stops is considered inconvenient, and map accuracy, especially in Ukraine, has been criticized. The device supports additional features like a video player and MP3 player, and it has a battery capacity of 1500 mAh. While some users have faced challenges with map accuracy and charging convenience, they remain optimistic about potential improvements from the manufacturer. Overall, the Navitel E707 Magnetic is recommended for its screen size and mounting solution, but users suggest enhancements in map accuracy and traffic updates.
Pros
Cons
I hope for improvements and improvements from the manufacturer. What can you do. Optimist! The first impression is good. Large and clear screen. Quick turn on, search for satellites, and turns on, and updates, and works quickly, and offers three routes. The bracket with the magnet touches me. Very comfortably. The potential capabilities of the navigator are great, but... If manufacturers quickly respond to our complaints (well, at least objective ones), then many will love this navigator. The process of planning a route with stops is very inconvenient. The route image is pathetic. 2D and 3D do not differ on the screen. Just the cursor, the road line, and that's it. It's impossible to set the scale according to your own preference. As for map accuracy, especially in Ukraine, it's beyond any criticism. Attempts to find my house 104 on Antonovicha (Gorky) in Kyiv were unsuccessful. I discovered dozens of such houses that have existed in reality for over 20 years on the map. And this was within the first week of using the device. Similar issues happen with houses in other cities. Building a route to these houses ends with the phrase "Route cannot be constructed." Sometimes during a trip, a turn is announced several kilometers ahead, but just 15 meters before the turn, making it impossible to turn at speed. Late informant response. Updating maps does not lead to increased accuracy and completeness of information. It prompted a route violation. The program stubbornly returns to the original route for a long time, although it would logically use the new one. No service center responded to how to charge the device without using the standard cigarette lighter charging device. It's hardly convenient to remove the bracket and charge the device through it using a smartphone charger at home. The warranty service suggested using the USB port on the navigator's body by connecting it to any smartphone charger, and if this caused a malfunction, they would fix it under warranty. Genius! use Navitel E707 Magnetic week i recommend it should buy |
I only recently purchased it, I used to drive it with an E505, and of course I didn’t like the small display in that model. Of course, I was waiting for model 7 to come out with a magnet, the magnetic mount is a very good solution, and the large display is much better clickable. I'm quite satisfied with the device. We solved the issue with traffic jams and updating, in general it would be great so as not to carry the device home every time screen, mount no real disappointments |
Great navigator with a 7-inch screen and reliable magnetic mount. The build quality and software are top-notch. No traffic information available. For that, it's better to get a tablet with a SIM card slot. Large capacitive screen. Magnetic mount. Lack of information about traffic jams. |
