wonderful model, really honored

We had been using an old Chinese three-thread overlock for a long time. It was, as they say, a bit quirky, meaning it sewed according to its mood. Sometimes it would sew, sometimes it wouldn't. When it wanted to, it stitched quite well, but to make it work, you had to sit and adjust it. And when it acted up and broke the thread every five minutes, it was just awful. Since we are currently engaged in volunteer work, sewing clothes in a hospital for the wounded, it was decided that we needed a new, simple, powerful, convenient four-thread overlock. Said and done. I was given the task, and I found this one. Since we already have the Necchi NC102D machine, which I have already reviewed, I decided to stick with this Italian brand, which has nearly a 200-year history.

And I didn't make a mistake. The machine is great. It was perfectly set up out of the box, we threaded the threads, started it, and it works. The stitches are even, the blades cut perfectly without chewing, and of course, it has an excellent four-thread stitch.

Of course, there are some things to keep in mind; no matter how you look at it, its speed is lower than the Chinese GN1-2, which has a speed of about 2400 stitches per minute. This one has 1300 (and basically, all modern overlocks have this speed). The GN1-2 is made entirely of metal and weighs like a dwarf hippopotamus, so when it is perfectly adjusted, its movement is smooth and the sound is without extra noise. This one rattles a bit with plastic. However, everything seems to be in place and nothing is loose. But its weight is an advantage; it is easy to lift with one hand when you need to roll it on the ground.
Sews just wonderfully

Suction cups on the bottom to keep the machine from sliding on the table
When you lift the presser foot, the thread tensioners open for easy threading.
A bit slower than the previous one. The operating sound is a bit louder than expected.
