The machine is made in Vietnam, not China. It has a powerful motor that runs smoothly. With a computer base, the machine can perform 200 operations. Of course, it has a horizontal bobbin, which greatly simplifies threading. LED lighting, bright and powerful. A case for various sewing accessories. Capability to handle sleeves. Ability to install a sewing table. Convenient pull-out instructions with numbers for selecting the desired operation. Start/stop button and the ability to work without a pedal. Speed adjustment key. Needle positioning button. Threader, initially it was unusual, but once I understood the principle of operation, it became very convenient. There is no backlight on the monitor. |
I've had the Necchi NC102D for some time now, and it's become a very pleasant discovery for me. The machine is computerized, with a large number of sewing operations (around 200), and you can definitely feel it: you can easily choose from simple straight stitches to decorative ones, make buttonholes, embroidery, and perform other tasks without getting bogged down with manual settings. It has a 70W motor that works precisely: the maximum speed of up to 850 stitches per minute is fast enough for all home projects, and yet the machine doesn't sound like a tractor. Easy threading and the horizontal rotary hook are big advantages: the thread lays flat, gets tangled less, and results in fewer skipped stitches. It's especially convenient that there's an option to connect a large table when working with broader or heavier fabrics — this makes the process significantly more comfortable. Overall, the settings are clear and intuitive, so you don't have to relearn them each time. I wouldn't say it's a super-professional machine for salons, but for home use — it's very functional and pleasant to work with. Even though there are many operations, all of them are accessible and used without much effort. The Necchi NC102D has become my reliable assistant for all sewing tasks — from minor repairs to serious craft projects. It sews well, and if there were any problems, they were due to my own carelessness. Before this, I had machines with a vertical shuttle, and the horizontal one is much more convenient. The machine is quite quiet and has many operations. To lubricate most components, you have to unscrew the panels; there is no quick access. |

When choosing, I had only one condition: it had to have a horizontal bobbin. That was the only condition. At first, we considered used options, but then I convinced her to buy a new one. The choice fell on Necchi, a brand that is not very common in our country; Brothers, Janome, and Juki have taken a large niche. And that's not right because this Italian company’s machine is made in Vietnam and has a history dating back to 1835, with the first machines being produced in 1919. So they know how to make sewing machines.
