South Korean radar detectors and Neoline DVRs are respected by east european motorists. Take, for example, the X-COP 6000c model — an inexpensive "bait catcher" with a large horn antenna, a proprietary Z-signature filter and other nice "buns".
Detection of low-power complexes
The highlight of the model can rightly be considered an enlarged horn antenna, which unmistakably "catches" low-power speed control systems ("Skat", "Oskon", "Arena", "Kordon"). The detector notifies in advance of the approach to such police “ambushes”, even if they measure the speed in the back of a passing car. In the device settings, you can add your own points, set a dangerous perimeter with poor road surface and silence zones, where false positives constantly occur. In such zones, the detector does not respond to the detected signals, but warns only about objects from the GPS base.
Z-signature filter
To avoid false positives, Neoline X-COP 6000c was equipped with a proprietary Z-signature filter. It ignores signals from blind spot sensors of other vehicles, sliding doors and barriers. In total, the model has 4 operating modes: “City” and “Route”, smart X-COP mode (automatically switches the two previous modes depending on the speed of movement), as well as “Turbo” with an increased detection range.
Current information
The radar detector is attached to the windscreen with two gripping suction cups. For an additional fee, the user is offered to acquire a practical magnetic lock with a quick-release magnetic device mount. The model draws information about complexes without radar radiation according to the GPS-adapter data from a pre-installed database, which is regularly updated on the Neoline official website. To load updated information about the location of police cameras into the detector's memory, it is enough to resort to the services of a USB flash drive — the update is automatically downloaded from it to the device after it is turned on.
