Notorious east european roads ruined a lot of car tyres. In case of habitation in regions where pits and potholes on the tracks are considered the norm, Finnish tyre manufacturers from Nokian have released a hardy tyre called Nordman SZ.

High speed option

It is noteworthy that, depending on the speed rating (V or W) , the model has two different styles of “drawing” the tread. In the W variant (up to 270 km/h), the focus is on maximum responsiveness at high speeds. The multi-layer structure of the tyre tread, combined with a high content of silica in the rubber compound, provides lightning-fast reactions to steering commands and safe manoeuvres.

"Wet" clutch

The tyre breaker is made of high strength steel cord. In turn, the outer layer of the tread gives the ride more softness, eating up the smallest bumps in the roadway under the wheels of the car. The tyre demonstrates its best qualities on wet pavement — during movement on it, maximum traction and transmission of braking forces are achieved.

drainage network

The basis of the Nokian Nordman SZ drainage system is formed by four circumferential channels with many spherical recesses on the side walls (for the benefit of low rolling noise). The tyre is unaffected by the insidious effect of hydroplaning, and it also removes water from the contact spot in the blink of an eye. A very tasty price tag is called upon to strengthen the position of the model in the medium segment of summer automobile tyres.
