Oleo-Mac products were recommended by a friend of the owner of the service station, he has been using a similar device on his farm for the second year and is very pleased. I bought it because I have a chainsaw of this brand that works quite well, but I purchased that chainsaw abroad. Quite good water pressure, especially when using the "cutter" nozzle, long high-pressure hose. After half an hour of using this pressure washer, the motor started shutting off, which is quite disappointing for such a unit. I couldn't figure out the reason for this shutdown, whether it's the motor's thermal relay kicking in, or due to voltage fluctuations. This solid unit stands out for its power (2300 W), output (480 L/h), and maximum working pressure (145 bar). These specifications allow the pressure washer to be used under heavier loads than previous models. Although the recommended continuous operating time for such devices, regardless of power, does not exceed 30 minutes, the higher output of the Oleo-Mac PW 145C makes it possible to spend less time washing a car than with the medium-power units described above.
Like the previous models, this pressure washer does not have a self-priming function; however, there are no problems with gravity-fed water supply. The unit comes with an 8-meter high-pressure hose that can be wound onto a special reel and provides 2.5–3 m more freedom of movement with the spray gun compared to the previously described models. The main spray gun nozzle allows adjustment of the spray angle, and the package includes not only a washing brush but also a foam generator and a rotary nozzle attachment.
The manufacturer claims the unit is resistant to sub-zero temperatures and features thermal motor protection; the attachments and hose are connected using quick-release couplings. The only subjective drawback may be its noticeable weight (18 kg), although moving the pressure washer on its sturdy wheels is not difficult at all.
Like similar models, the Oleo-Mac is equipped with an “auto-stop” function that completely stops the motor when the nozzle on the attachment is closed. This unit also features the Easy Start soft-start system, which prevents water hammer when the pressure washer is switched on and consequently extends its service life.
I chose this brand's model mostly out of contrariness - everywhere you look, it's all Karchers or, at best, Black & Deckers.
I haven't regretted the purchase even once (despite friends' discouragement), whereas half of the Karcher owners have already visited service centers.
