Morally outdated device, whose time passed around 7 years ago.

If you need a stationary amplifier with relatively decent sound, capable of playing rock, this is a good option.

Radio functions as a bonus.

Who needs internet radio - probably no one; it's easier to connect to a computer than press buttons on the remote a hundred times.

It gets relatively hot; Onkyo hasn't fixed this issue in their VLSC amplifiers for the past 15 years.

There's another flaw with these amplifiers - when you crank up the volume, they turn off and start flashing a light (weak speaker control can cause feedback to become uncontrollable).

The level of this control is adjusted inside the device with a screwdriver randomly, but the essence is the same - it’s a problem.

Overall, the damping factor of Onkyo amplifiers is the most problematic aspect, and here it is also extremely low.
Not bad sound when connected to a good external sound source via RCA.
Excessive weight, outdated non-impulsive power supply, and most importantly - lack of a proper USB input (for this price there should be a full-fledged receiver like XMOS with official drivers, not just for show, but there's absolutely none here).
