The Finnish shower mixer-thermostat Oras Nova 7470U stands out for its non-standard large-sized body design and carefully thought-out ergonomics. The model belongs to the Nova shower tap family, where simplicity, environmental friendliness and safety prevailed over the sophistication of forms. This range features anti-slip finger grips, an anti-scald button and an always-cool Thermo Cool chrome finish. The rounded facade of the massive brass body has a smooth relief in the lower and upper areas, made with an inclination towards the back of the mixer. The back of the body with 2 outlets G 1/2 is also made flat, and the pipe eccentric connections are closed with decorative conical bowls. Against the background of such a solid body, the side handles of the valves look quite miniature. A shower outlet with the same connecting thread is located in the lower part of the body strictly in the centre.

When installing the appliance, please note that the hot water connection is on the right side, while the mixed water temperature adjustment knob is on the left. In addition, the installation of the device is carried out through noise-reducing gaskets with the installation of dirt filters and check valves. The standard thermostatic cartridge is equipped with a water temperature limiter set to 38 °C. A built-in ceramic tap box on the right regulates the amount of water flow. The range of operating pressure in the water supply system, at which the mixer is able to function, is 1 – 10 bar. The model has the function of limiting the water flow Eco flow, which allows you to switch to the mode of economical consumption of a valuable natural resource at any time. So, at a nominal pressure of 3 bar, the usual water flow is 16.2 L / min, and the economical one is 11.4 L / min.
