The optimal shower system in Finnish
The thermostatic shower system of the Finnish plumbing manufacturer Oras Optima 7192U is an up-to-date set of equipment for a shower cabin designed for daily water procedures. It consists of a shower bar, a thermostatic mixer, a soap shelf, a holder for a watering can, as well as an overhead and hand shower. The index "U" in the digital designation of the model indicates the complete set of the mixer with an eccentric connection and decorative cups.
Soap is always at hand
The overhead shower head is hinged to a 1200x400 mm L-pillar and the shower head is connected to it with a 150 cm long flexible hose. It gives an effective "rain" jet that cannot be reconfigured to another, unlike a manual watering can that can work in two modes. Next to the shower head holder, there is a place for inclined mounting of a 200 mm wide soap dish shelf included with the system.
Eco flow: real water savings
The Oras Optima thermostatic tap with comfortable Easy Grip adjustment knobs allows you to quickly set the desired water temperature. The mixer has a built-in temperature limiter up to 38 °C, which reliably protects against accidental burns, and the external coating of brass fittings with heat-resistant ABS plastic prevents significant heating of the device during operation. The non-return valve installed in the device ensures the constancy of the pressure with possible pressure drops when supplying water. The flow rate of the overhead shower is 16.2 L/min at a pressure value of 3 bar in the pipeline. The Eco flow water flow control function limits the speed of its movement, automatically setting the optimal parameters of the flow, sufficient for a comfortable shower. In addition to the traditional ceramic shut-off valve, the tap is equipped with mesh dirt filters.
