There is hardly anything missing from the extensive product range of Japanese tech giant Panasonic. Under the brand’s wing, it produces TVs, cameras, all kinds of home appliances, and beauty and health products. The EW-DE92 electric toothbrush, one of the latter, is a versatile tool for oral care.

Ions in the Service of Dentistry

Out of the box, the toothbrush comes with three replaceable brush heads: an ionic head for removing dental plaque, a double-sided ionic head with a silicone surface on the reverse side, and a head with narrow, fine bristles for deep cleaning (three bristle profiles for different areas). The “ionic” label appears in the names of the two brush heads for good reason—the model uses ionization technology to remove tartar and speed up the healing of microcracks.

Soft Start

The Panasonic EW-DE92 operating modes are marked directly on the handle of the device’s water-resistant body. There are four in total: whitening, soft, gentle, and tongue cleaning. After the linear motor starts, the toothbrush moves smoothly for a couple of seconds, gradually increasing speed until it reaches operating mode (31,000 vibrations per minute). This useful feature is called soft start.

Travel-Friendly Toothbrush

The model lasts for up to 90 minutes on a single battery charge. That is, notably, three weeks of use without external charging when brushing your teeth twice a day for 2 minutes. A special indicator informs the user when the battery’s electric “fuel” is running low. Another advantage of the toothbrush is its travel-friendliness—the model can be easily charged via its charging base using any voltage from 100 to 240 V, and it also comes with a convenient travel case.
