Model overview based on user reviews
The Panasonic HC-MDH2 camcorder is appreciated for its good photosensitivity and acceptable quality in low light, making it suitable for filming various events. It features simultaneous recording on two SD flash drives, a convenient LCD display and viewfinder, and adjustable main parameters via the lens ring, including zoom, white balance, shutter, and light sensitivity. The camcorder offers a good optical stabilizer and supports shooting in 1920x1080 50p AVC. However, users report that the zoom lens is noisy, with image jerks and noise at maximum light sensitivity. Additionally, the camera requires both flash drives to be present for dual recording. Some users have experienced durability issues, with power and zoom lever problems arising after a year of use. Despite these drawbacks, the camera is considered easy to use with excellent technical specifications.
Pros
Cons
Quite a decent device for filming various events. Good photosensitivity, acceptable quality in low light, simultaneous recording on two SD flash drives (I tried a maximum of SDSX 64 GB - it works), convenient location of the LCD display and viewfinder, adjustment of the main parameters with the lens ring (zoom in and out, white balance, shutter, light sensitivity), good optical stabilizer, it is possible to shoot 1920x1080 50p AVC (bitrate about 26 Mbit/s) The zoom lens is quite noisy, when zoomed out there is a slight jerk in the image, and a lot of noise at the maximum (30Db) increase in light sensitivity. In the recording mode on two flash drives, if at least one is missing in the slot, the camera will complain that there is no second flash drive and will not record. |
Good camera, convenient for shooting. I have several of them. There is a drawback: the zoom function on almost all cameras works very poorly, either in jumps or not at all, and two of them have powering issues that are impossible to fix without replacing the circuit board. The remote control is not designed for this camera. But if it works properly, it's very easy to use, and the technical specifications are excellent compared to the previous ones. If it works, it's an excellent and convenient camera for shooting. Wears out very quickly, i.e., after a year of use (not every day, of course), two of my cameras developed a power issue and don't turn on, while the others have a problem with the zoom lever (and I have a total of 7 cameras). |
