Model overview based on user reviews
The Pandora DX 50 car alarm system offers a range of features, including autorun and a convenient remote control, making it a popular choice for many users. It is praised for its easy installation and reliable performance, especially in terms of security functions like silent arming and Anti-Hi-Jack. However, some users have reported issues with the autostart function in cold temperatures and random loss of connection with the remote. The system is noted for being demanding of skilled installers, as improper installation can lead to performance issues. Despite these concerns, many find it to be a good value for the price, with features that enhance convenience and security, such as the ability to control the car through a mobile app. Overall, the Pandora DX 50 is recommended for those who prioritize a feature-rich and user-friendly car alarm system, but it is advisable to ensure professional installation to avoid potential glitches.

this model has a glitch, in frost conditions of -8 and below, autostart does not work, before that there was a line 91, there were no complaints in 3 years, but with this one I suffer every morning cool sound when opening doors this model has a glitch, when the temperature is -8 and below, autostart does not work, use Pandora DX 50 few months |
This model is installed by dealers as a supplement when selling cars, in principle the system itself is not bad, but the installers from dealers are so-so, and therefore the reviews are something like this. quite a good alarm system demanding of installers |
Rare rubbish. Do not bet under any circumstances. Easy installation if you don't need autorun. Was installed in the car. Installation only via CAN and ran a wire to make the running lights flash. The remote constantly loses connection. You approach the car, press "disarm" on the remote, and get no response. The connection only reinstates after removing the terminal from the battery (after rebooting the main unit). The loss of connection with the remote occurs completely randomly regardless of distance (I had everything on the table after removing it from the car, and the connection was still lost). Naturally, the remote doesn't respond at all if the connection is lost when the alarm is triggered. Also noticed poor performance when the temperature drops below zero (there is a forum about this alarm system). use Pandora DX 50 few months |
