A great option for Rio, I bought it because the stock one is not impressive. Here, the price is more or less reasonable and the functionality suits me more than enough. I decided not to have it installed by the dealer, used the services of an authorized installer from Pandora. ATTENTION car theft via Pandora DX-9X DX-6X alarm system. Today, right before my eyes, my RAV4 with a Pandora DX-9X alarm system was stolen. It turns out that this alarm system has a significant security flaw... a Bluetooth app that can be linked from any phone to the system if desired. Today, this was clearly demonstrated to me. The issue is that this alarm system has two PIN codes, one on the card intended for emergency disarming of the alarm... this code is constant and does not change. And the second constant code that no one ever changes and is available to everyone.... the system setup PIN code.... four ones, and it's publicly known. When the alarm was installed at the official Pandora service center, they didn't change it either. Today at the shop, it was demonstrated to me how easy it is to pair any foreign phone with the Pandora DX-9x using the Pandora BT app. Less than a minute.... enter the PIN code of four ones, then 18 presses on the valet button, .... and the foreign phone with the app subscribed to the system, after which they used it like a remote to disarm the alarm. The flaw in Pandora is that this PIN code is never changed. At any service station, electricians are aware of this flaw in this alarm system... Therefore, they can easily subscribe any phone to the system... and then sell it to car thieves. In short, I was in SHOCK. Beautiful keychain, CAN bus connection Bluetooth does not work correctly, the range of the key fob is no more than 50 meters use Pandora DX 6X month or more i recommend it should buy |
