Our budget organization received this printer as a gift from sponsors, and since I maintain all of our office equipment, we can say that this is now my ward. Would I buy such a printer if I chose it myself? Of course not, you should buy printers only from trusted manufacturers, and not all models are equally successful. This is one of the cheapest models with high printing performance, built-in network interface and full duplex. As far as I understand from scattered information found on the network, this is a slightly modified design from Samsung. The Chinese chose a successful model for copying, and only time can tell how successful such a copy is. So far there are no complaints about the ward, it works normally and does not bother me at all. In total, I have already printed approximately 7,000 pages. Now it contains a purchased branded cartridge (the second after the complete one), which I refill myself. Refilling, by the way, is simple - refill kits consisting of bottles with toner and replacement chips are sold in online stores. The print quality is excellent; even very small fonts are perfectly readable on good paper. It produces more than 30 pages per minute, we printed annual reports in December and its high speed came in handy. Equipped with a standard 250-sheet paper feed tray. Sometimes it slows down when printing large and detailed raster graphics. Maybe there is not enough memory or the processor does not have time to process the information. To be fair, it must be said that such lags also happen on branded Canon. The service department says that if the mechanics break down there will be big problems; they do not have spare parts for these models and never have had them. |
