The Peg Perego pushchair is made in Italy and combines stylish design, reliability and versatility. It costs, of course, not cheap, but it looks really cool: dense fabric, discreet colours for lovers of the classics, a durable but lightweight aluminium frame painted to match the main colour, a handle and a bumper covered with eco-leather, sewn, according to the manufacturer, manually. The model weighs a lot — just over 10 kg, but easily folds together with or without a walking block. In this position, the pushchair takes up a minimum of space, fits in the boot of a car and stands steadily in an upright position. However at the same time, it rests on the floor with a handle, the lining of which can become dirty or damaged.

Grows with the child

The pushchair is designed for children over 6 months of age, however, the kit includes adapters that allow you to connect a cradle for babies or a car seat to the frame. Accordingly, the walking block itself is removable and has a carrying handle — you can remove it without disturbing the baby's rest. Plus, it folds in half for easy storage and transport. Another useful option, which is mainly inherent in universal, but not pushchairs, is a reversible block that can be installed in the direction of travel or facing the mother so that the child explores the world around or is under parental control.

Peg Perego also took care of the comfort of the baby: five-point harnesses and a removable bumper are responsible for safety, the seat is shaped like a hammock and corresponds to the natural position in the angle of inclination, and the hood with UV protection drops to the very bumper and “grows” with your child — it can be lowered or raised depending on the height. Unlike most competitors, the Peg Perego Ypsi back and footrest are not separately adjustable in different positions — here the block tilts completely. In total, three positions are available, up to horizontal. For example, if the baby falls asleep during a walk, you will not disturb his sleep by simply tilting the seat unit. For winter and cold weather, the kit comes with a tight cape on the legs with a zipper in the middle so that you can reach the child without taking it off.

Comfortable walks for parents

The design of the pushchair is thought out for the convenience of not only children, but also their parents, for whom outdoor walks should also bring pleasure, not a headache. The handle is adjustable in height, adjusting to the height of a person, all the upholstery is removed and washed in a washing machine at a temperature of 30 degrees, and purchases, toys, and necessary children's things will fit in a capacious basket. The wheels are worth a special mention. They are rubbery and quite large: 18 cm in front and 26 cm in rear. In addition to the fact that they provide a soft ride (thanks to spring damping) and manoeuvrability, the peculiarity lies in the location of the blocker, which fixes the front wheels in a straight position. It is mostly located near the wheels, but here it is at the top of the frame so that parents do not have to bend low and get their hands dirty.
