The optical system includes 50 mm objective lenses and Porro-type prismatic blocks with elements that are made of barium crown (a special glass with a low dispersion coefficient). The full multi-layer anti-reflective coating provides good light transmission, allowing the Pentax 10x50 SP binoculars to be used in low light conditions, as well as high image contrast and color reproduction in natural tones. It is possible to install the binoculars on a tripod. The package includes a soft case and a neck strap.
