Model overview based on user reviews
The Phiolent Professional MShU 2-9-125 is a lightweight and reliable angle grinder that offers good value for money. Users appreciate its domestic production and its comfortable fit in hand. The model is praised for its smooth start without a jerk, making it suitable for tasks requiring precision, such as grinding wood at low speeds. However, some users have noted issues with the protective cover, which can be challenging to install or remove, and the black case cover not fitting snugly enough. Despite these minor drawbacks, the grinder has proven durable over time, with one user successfully replacing parts themselves after years of use. Overall, it is considered a good model for those seeking a dependable and affordable tool.

Bought because of the speed controller. I work mostly at low speeds. I grind pieces of wood, and therefore I do not use a casing.
Lightweight, fits well in the hand. Start without a jerk, gently.
The protective cover is a disgrace.
To install or remove it, you have to work hard.

good model, liked it
26 April 2016
I've been using it since 2003. It has never let me down; only at the start of this year (2016) did a backlash appear in the gear shaft. The diagnosis was the bearing. I replaced the "201" bearing and the bronze bushing myself, and the "grinder" is back in action.
Lightweight and fairly reliable. + domestic. Good value for money.
It is difficult to press the gear from the gearbox shaft. The black case cover does not fit snugly enough.

Small and light

The compact (280 mm in length) grinder "Fiolent" MShU 2-9-125E stands out among others with its low weight. It weighs only 1.6 kg, so this model is perfect for one-handed work in the air. Of course, it can also be held with two hands (for this, an additional handle, which is included in the kit, is screwed into the gearbox housing on the right or left). However, the second limb will be needed one way or another, because the start button is located inconveniently — not under the thumb, but in the upper part of the case. Therefore, it is difficult to turn the tool on and off with one hand.

"Hardware" — no worse than imported models

The electronic “hardware” of a low-cost instrument is usually not rich, but Fiolent is not the case. There is an electronic control unit that performs many useful tasks. It regulates the starting current ("soft start"), allows you to adjust the speed and keeps them stable when the load changes. The electronics also provide motor overload protection (but many users complain that the protection is "gentle" and kicks in too soon).

Of the unsuccessful decisions, it is worth mentioning the inconvenient protective cover (it is difficult to install and turn) and the power cable “tanning” in the cold. The engine cooling system is well implemented, but in order to remain effective and not clogged with dust, the tool should be regularly cleaned or purged with a compressor.

Inexpensive grinder for home and workshop

Due to the low price and decent quality, this model will be included in the short list of any master who wants to buy a solid and inexpensive angle grinder. But the grinder "Fiolent" MShU 2-9-125E cannot be called a professional tool. It is definitely not suitable for many hours of daily use with heavy loads. She prefers neat work with thin sheet metal, thin-walled pipes, various types of roofing materials, ceramic tiles and tiles.
