Model overview based on user reviews
The Princeton EOS headlamp is a reliable and durable choice for outdoor enthusiasts, offering high-quality Maxbright Rebel LED with brightness levels sufficient for cycling and water activities. It features a water-resistant design and is made from impact-resistant plastic, ensuring longevity and resilience in various conditions. The flashlight operates on 3 AAA batteries, providing a long-lasting light source. Users appreciate the adjustable elastic strap and convenient rubberized power button. However, some note that the body is slightly large and the mounting system could be more rigid, causing the beam to sway during movement. Despite these minor drawbacks, the Princeton EOS is praised for its versatility and effectiveness in activities like cycling, kayaking, and other outdoor adventures.

good model, liked it.

I ride a bicycle a lot, and I can responsibly say that for cycling at night, a "headlamp" is the best lighting option. Yes, there is a wide range of lights designed to be mounted on the handlebars. And they shine well and brightly, BUT their light always goes in the direction the handlebars are facing. This automatically means that you will always be turning into a dark, unlit area. In practice, this ends up with you only seeing an obstacle after fully turning, and if it's nearby, you're guaranteed to run into it. Headlamps are completely free of this drawback, and that's why I chose this time-tested high-quality model from the American company Princeton Tec. And, yes, I also use a light on the handlebars.
A good light output from high-quality Maxbright Rebel LED. The brightness is quite high. In High mode, it confidently illuminates up to 50 meters, in Mid mode the range is about 20-25 meters. I don't use Low on the road since it's for very close lighting. This happiness operates on 3 AAA size batteries commonly known as "mini fingers". I took branded Panasonic Eneloop batteries with a capacity of 750mAh. They last a long time, I haven't tested specifically, but in Mid mode, it shines for at least 10-12 hours. The manufacturer approached the construction responsibly and carefully. The battery compartment is not held by latches, but is closed with a metal screw and has a special rubber sealing gasket. The body is made of impact-resistant plastic, similar to ABS. It can be tilted downwards almost at a 90-degree angle, which is useful when working with hands. Turning on and switching brightness modes is done with one large rubberized button located on top. The elastic strap that fixes the flashlight to the head is adjustable.
Pretty big body. The tint of the glow of the LED is too warm and this visually reduces the illumination a little. IMHO, cold glow gives higher contrast.
good model, I liked it

due to its durability and waterproofness, it is a very good choice for tourists, boaters and cases of getting into mud
durable, made from high-quality and long-lasting materials (plastic, button, strap) - tested with five years of use
convenient power button
waterproof (operated in the sea at a depth of 1 meter underwater)
non-slippery strap in grooves, which can be removed and washed separately
the brightness and light distribution is sufficient for cycling at good speed (starting from 70 lumens version) for at least 1.5 hours
due to a not sufficiently rigid mounting system, it slightly wobbles while walking, and might click down - the flashlight is not suitable for fast walkers
compromise diffuser format (without a separate LED or diffuser), as a result, it's not very pleasant for reading: bright spot in the center of the beam
when increasing the strap size, a small loop remains - a design flaw
use Princeton EOS month or more i recommend it should buy
A powerful and compact choice for water enthusiasts.

Water tourism, sailing, beach - the environment for this device. If you are actively moving, especially running, Petzl or Black Diamond analogues will be more convenient.
Durable and neatly assembled flashlight, with a convenient switch. The brightness is sufficient while unloading from a kayak in the dark during rough conditions. Water-resistant.
The beam of light slightly sways as you move: the flashlight is not firmly fixed in the holder.
The flashlight's dimensions are slightly large.
