In terms of price/quality ratio, the Rato R3000D model stands out from the group of low power standby gas generators. This is an unpretentious "workhorse" for use on a personal plot near a country house, in the country, in a camping or garage workshop.

workhorse

The generator weighing half a centner is equipped with a four-stroke single-cylinder Rato R210 engine with an overhead valve arrangement and efficient air cooling. The power unit transmits torque to the winding of the synchronous alternator, which is directly responsible for generating electricity. In nominal mode, 2.7 kW of power can be extracted from the generator, at maximum speeds — 3 kW(only for a short period of time).

Distribution of electricity

Power is distributed to energy consumers through the sockets of two on-board sockets 230 V / 16 A. To the left of them on the “facade” of the power plant, you can see the terminals for connecting 12-volt equipment. The voltage at the output of the generator shows a simple pointer voltmeter. But the model does not have an hour metre, so you will have to detect the “mileage” of the motor for timely maintenance yourself.

Onboard systems

Rato R3000D has an electric start system for the power unit, a built-in automatic output voltage regulator AVR, and a dry run protection system at low oil levels. The model simply and without unnecessary pathos performs the tasks of backup or emergency supply of volatile equipment with life-giving power of voltage and current.
