Model overview based on user reviews
The Ravak Blix 80x80 shower enclosure is praised for its high-quality construction, featuring durable tempered glass with an AntiCalc coating that resists limescale and scratches. Users appreciate the robustness of both the glass and the tray, noting that they withstand impacts without damage. The sliding doors operate smoothly, thanks to a glider system that prevents distortion. However, some users have experienced issues with the rubber seals drying out over time, leading to minor water leakage. Despite this, the overall satisfaction is high, with many preferring it over a traditional bathtub for its space-saving design and ease of use. While the initial cost may be higher, the product's reliability and durability make it a worthwhile investment.

usual model, nothing special

It will be a little expensive, but I wouldn’t recommend the Chinese brother’s options to anyone at all!
i’ll start with the price, we paid 4300 UAH for the cabin itself, plus separately 2000 for the pallet (((It’s very convenient to use, this is not the first private house I’ve rebuilt, and as practice has shown, the bathroom is needed more for show-off than for use. And the shower came in once or twice and it’s super The quality of both the tray and the glass itself is very good. Many times both the seeder and different jars fell on the tray and no matter what, no dents or scratches. The glass is generally superb, probably only with a hammer.
the tray is a little slippery, I almost killed myself once. Over time, the rubber seals begin to dry out and let water through, so I advise you!!!, do not buy with a tray, make a heated floor in the bathroom and install it without a tray, it will be easier, cheaper and less hassle.

Not a bad shower stall, quite satisfied
2 December 2013
When it came to renovation, the whole family thought for a long time what was better - a bathtub or just a shower stall. As a result, the desire to save on space won out. And with a shower stall it’s somehow easier - you went in, washed yourself and left. The bathroom is more of a hassle, and often it’s just not convenient. That’s how we decided to settle on a shower stall. Among other options, I chose Ravak Blix BLCP4-80 as the most reliable option. It cost me a lot, but there is no fear that it might soon malfunction. When you buy something from China, you never know what to expect from it, and therefore it is better to overpay, but buy a good thing.
The shower stall is of very high quality. Moreover, both the tray and the glass itself on the doors are pleasantly pleasing. There were different situations during use - they dropped everything possible on the pallet, a couple of times during the repair the doors themselves were specifically touched. As a result, everything is fine, no scratches, no dents, not a single trace. It seems to me that the only way to break the glass on this shower stall is to hit it with a hammer.
After some time of use, the rubber seals on the doors began to dry out and thus allow water to pass through. Now every shower is accompanied by the appearance of a small puddle on the bathroom floor. I'm now thinking about replacing the seals. Although, I must admit, I think that changing them every year is just an extra hassle.

Plumbing of the Czech company Ravak has long been on the list of the best. The manufacturer has been producing exceptionally high-quality plumbing equipment for over 25 years. The compact shower cabin Blix BLCP4-90 has an expensive design and reliability.

Practical and attractive

The cabin is a quarter of a circle and is assembled from 4 glass parts, two of which are doors, providing a relatively wide opening of 565 mm when open.

The 6 mm thick AntiCalc safety glass prevents plaque build-up and is available in three versions: clear, graphite and grape.

The wide aluminium profile is also available in three finishes: satin, white or silver. But there is no tray included. It will either have to be purchased optionally (the manufacturer offers a choice of 5 types), or you can mount the cabin on a tiled floor with a built-in drain or shower channel, which will also have to be purchased separately.

The SilentRun mechanism, located at the bottom of the doors, will ensure their quiet and trouble-free operation for many years. The sashes can be tilted or completely removed by lightly pressing the mechanism, which simplifies maintenance and cleaning in hard-to-reach places.

Reasonable quality

Blix BLCP4-90 is equipped with comfortable aluminium handles that emphasize the overall design, and also allows for wall mounting of a plastic reclining seat, which can also be bought among the rich range of Ravak sanitary products. For all their splendor, the sealing gums that require regular maintenance are somewhat depressing: once or twice every six months they need to be lubricated with silicone, otherwise they dry out and begin to let in moisture and splashes.

Otherwise, the Ravak Blix BLCP4-90 shower enclosure is a stylish high quality product for an adequate price, if it included at least some minimal tray, drain or shower channel.

Additional features shower enclosure Ravak Blix BLCP4-90:
  • AntiCalc — technology for protecting glass from lime deposits (water-repellent barrier)
  • Profile colour — satin, white, silver
  • Optionally, it can be equipped with a pallet
