The idea to buy an oil cooler came up after regular problems with central heating began in the house. This option seemed to me the best because of the low price and the promised economy. It was this model that I took because of its attractive appearance, compactness and low cost. Outwardly, this heater resembles an ordinary battery, but it does not attract attention to itself and, at least, does not spoil the interior of the apartment. The dimensions are compact, so the use does not cause any discomfort. The presence of roller wheels on the legs is very pleased - it is convenient and practical. In operation, the radiator proved to be not bad. Heating of the room occurs quickly enough (as for a device of this type). After heating the apartment to an acceptable temperature in automatic mode, it is held at this level. At the same time, the radiator is most of the time in the off state and only occasionally turns on. Also, it is very good from an economical point of view, since the electricity tariffs are really inhuman. We haven't been able to find any cons so far - the heater works properly. The only problem is that after prolonged use, the air in the apartment really becomes dry. A humidifier would be very handy in this model, otherwise you have to regularly ventilate the apartment. Because of this, the room immediately loses several degrees of heat, so it turns out a kind of vicious circle: at first you get cold - you turn on the radiator and heat the room - you open the window to let in fresh air - you start to freeze again :) use Ravanson OH-11 month or more |
Budget-friendly and, so to speak, classic radiator. Heats the air nicely, though it noticeably dries it out. I can say that this model can be a good solution for those who want to save money and get a decent working heater. There is a thermostat and a mode for the desired room temperature. You don't have to worry about it getting too hot or the temperature dropping below a comfortable level if, for example, you leave the radiator unattended overnight. I even leave it on at night, and the optimal warmth is still maintained. It has an overheat protection feature; I’m not sure how it works, but it's nice to have, of course. A convenient handle and wheels allow you to move the device from room to room; the wheels turn well, do not get stuck, and do not scratch the floor. The design is classic, meaning not particularly original but not ugly either, it looks as it should in the room, nothing special. It’s relatively inexpensive, which can also be considered an advantage. At maximum power, the device noticeably dries the air. Therefore, after the radiator has been running for a long time, there is sometimes (mostly for my wife, not for me) an urgent need to air out the room and freshen it up a bit, releasing all the heat outside, which is not logical at all. The short cord is inconvenient if the outlet is located far from where the radiator is installed. |

Maintaining a comfortable microclimate
