Razer's Ultimate Tournament Gamepad
Like all controllers from Razer, the new Razer Raiju Tournament Edition is designed for eSports players who value the combination of reference quality and flexible customization options. In the end, in a confrontation with a strong opponent, every little thing can play a decisive role. The quality and attention to detail here is simply prohibitive, which is why the gamepad turned out to be very, very expensive. However unlike many other Razer gadgets, this is justified by its eSports status and additional features.
Stick sensitivity adjustment and trigger stop depth control
The owner of the Raiju Tournament Edition can adjust the sensitivity of the sticks, reduce the depth of the trigger stop or remap the usual keys to additional triggers M1, M2, M3 and M4, which are hidden on the back of the case. Thanks to this, a legal cheat is obtained that breaks the control restrictions familiar to consoles. For example, the player can jump and reload at the same time with the M1 and M3 paddles without removing their right finger from the vision stick. Well, in order to keep up with Sony, Razer decided to borrow the proprietary touchpad and gyroscope from the DualShock 4.
The layout of the buttons is made in the style of the Xbox One
The button layout is inspired by the Xbox One with its wide body, scalloped edges and massive asymmetrical triggers. However the Raiju turned out to be heavier than its competitors - 322 grams versus 210 grams for the DualShock 4. The body plastic is slightly rough, and the non-slip rubberized inserts on the handles are made of the same rubberized material as the side inserts on the Razer DeathAdder V2 Pro and Razer Viper Ultimate mice. Separately, it is worth noting the mechanical-tactile keys, which work faster and more clearly than the membrane keys in other gamepads. Plus, they have more pronounced feedback. To be honest, it is difficult to describe in words, it is better to compare with your own hands.
