The mat is a disappointment. In less than two months of active use, the surface developed fuzz balls in the areas where it contacts with the hand. Specifically, some loops of the surface material have popped up and stick out like tiny balls. Tactilely, this is very noticeable. I constantly feel like brushing away crumbs, but there aren't any. Given how the top layer is made, this can't be fixed. Besides the mouse and hand, nothing else was on the mat, I didn't wash it, and there are no cats in the house.
Buying a mat for this price for just 2 months is unjustifiable.
