Model overview based on user reviews
The Rebir KZ1-400 is a portable electric chainsaw known for its powerful 2150 W motor and smooth start, making it effective for cutting various wood diameters with ease. Users appreciate its aluminum housing for bearings and metal gears, which contribute to its durability and endurance during prolonged use. However, the product has been criticized for its poor assembly quality, with issues such as leaking oil tanks and improperly fitted components being reported. Despite these drawbacks, some users find it a good value for money and a strong competitor to other consumer goods, especially when used with a thick wire section for optimal performance. The saw's weight can be a downside, causing fatigue during extended use. Overall, while the Rebir KZ1-400 has its flaws, it remains a powerful and reliable tool for those willing to address its assembly issues.

Weight. Tire. The assembly is terrible. use Rebir KZ1-400 few months |
I purchased the saw about 6-7 years ago. I use it periodically, mainly for firewood preparation and tree trimming. It's a very powerful machine, but my arms get tired when I have to work "in the air." The saw is good! Very powerful, cuts any diameter of wood very easily. Smooth start. A little heavy. Not a good chain pitch, you have to pay extra. |
Gave a low quality rating - due to assembly. Bought it new from an official dealer. A month later I decided to try it, assembled it, poured the oil in. I'm cutting - it keeps shutting off. What the heck... I put it aside for better times. Later, I see a puddle of oil on the floor.... I decided to take this marvel of technology apart and oh: 1. The power contact on the button was not screwed in at all! That's why it would turn on and off. Depending on how the wire was placed %) 2. I see - oil leaking from under the tank. The bottom cover wasn't screwed tight. It seemed not to leak. I turn it on - the oil doesn't flow... another puddle. What the heck. Basically - after fiddling around, I found the absence of a) a gasket between the oil supply hose and the tank; b) a casting defect in the tank - faulty threading. Fixed it with makeshift means - worked in test mode, no leaks, oil is pumping. But damn it - is this Lada assembly or what? Such blunders and defects. Even purebred Chinese makes it better. PS: forgot - the case looks solid at first glance. But only at first - from below the covers don't fit snugly against each other. Again, a casting defect... Weight. Tire. The assembly is terrible. |

Bought new from an official dealer.
A month later, decided to try it, assembled it, poured in oil. While sawing—it kept cutting off. What the heck... Put it aside for better times. Later noticed a puddle of oil on the floor...
Decided to take apart this wonder of technology and found:
1. The power contact on the button wasn't screwed at all! That's why it would sometimes turn on and off. Depending on how the wire lay %)
2. I see - leaking from under the oil tank. The bottom lid wasn't screwed on properly. Seemed not to leak. I turn it on - no oil coming through... again a puddle. What the heck. Eventually, after tinkering, discovered the absence of a) a gasket between the oil feed hose and the tank; b) a casting defect in the tank - defective thread. Fixed it with makeshift means - worked in test mode, no leaks, oil was pumping. But damn - is this an AvtoVAZ assembly or what? So many blunders and defects. Even purebred Chinese products are better made.
PS: forgot - the body looks decent at first glance. But only at first—underneath, the lids don't fit snugly to each other. Another casting defect...
PPS: also forgot %) The oil pump - it has a seal ring on the shaft, and it was "oversized" - kept slipping off. Causing oil to seep through...
