What to choose: slow cooker, pressure cooker or rice cooker?What is the difference between slow cooker, pressure cooker and rice cooker, what are their advantages and disadvantages
Model overview based on user reviews
The Redmond RMC-M90 multi-cooker is highly praised for its versatility and ease of use, featuring a 5-liter capacity and a ceramic bowl with handles that prevents food from sticking. Users appreciate its 17 cooking programs, including options for baking, steaming, and frying, making it a comprehensive kitchen appliance that can replace several others. The delayed start and temperature maintenance functions are particularly valued for convenience, allowing meals to be ready upon arrival home. Despite some initial concerns about a plastic smell, most users report that it dissipates quickly. The touch controls are generally well-received, though some find them less responsive than expected. While a few users have experienced defects, the majority find the multi-cooker reliable and a great time-saver, with many recommending it for its functionality and the quality of food it produces. However, the short power cord and the need for careful monitoring of oil and water levels to prevent burning are noted as minor drawbacks. Overall, the Redmond RMC-M90 is considered a valuable addition to the kitchen, offering a balance of design, functionality, and cost-effectiveness.

I do not advise. She died after 3 days.
23 December 2021
Worked for three days and died. Overheated in the stewing mode, showed error E5 and would not turn on again. Stores confirmed that Redmond has had a lot of defects and returns recently.

As for the features like: turning off heating, multi-cook, and handles - I recommend them, but better from another brand... and 7 is too expensive for such quality...
+ multipurpose cooking is very convenient;
+ the presence of handles on the bowl is convenient (once you try using them, it becomes inconvenient without them), but be careful - they heat up, however, with them, the bowl does not spin in the multicooker around its axis during stirring;
+ heating shutdown (long press);
+ many programs and many recipes (+ there is an app with recipes);
+ there is a basket for frying (separately costs around 800), but in the multicooker, I wouldn't risk deep frying, in case it overheats;
+ removable inner part of the lid (easy to wash)...
+ the coating inside the bowl is very "slippery", possibly due to the lack of any texture on the surface, the omelet just slid around on it.
- a lot of defects;
- the bowl is quite thin and light;
- the bottom of the bowl is not flat but convex upward, so the oil runs to the edges;
- carefully inspect the bowl before buying, there are some granules-dirt on the surface, which apparently got there during the application of the non-stick coating, and there is a risk of scraping it off with a spatula along with the coating! (can be felt by touch);
- poor quality spatulas (started to melt from high temperature! At first, I didn't even understand what was going on, I thought that the dough from the spatula was smeared on the surface of the bowl, then I saw that part of the spatula was missing);
- touch buttons are personally inconvenient for me, I accidentally pressed them while holding the multicooker;
- the quality of execution is not very good, the smell of plastic remained even after the procedure with lemon;
- removable steam valve - there are three holes for steam outlet, but it was coming out through some gap as well (droplets formed);
- I don't understand why, if you have a measuring cup, there are marks on the bowl, why everything in the recipe book is in grams!!! Probably, so people also buy scales, it is so convenient to spend time on weighing (not talking about meat or vegetables, but cereals!);
- they crammed advertising for their other products into the recipe book, instead of making a separate brochure;
- there is no plain rice and buckwheat in the recipe book.

great model, I really liked it
10 December 2014
I've been using it for a year now. Everyone is happy. During a busy workday, she is an excellent assistant. I take it with me on trips. If you don't have a kitchen, this is the ideal way out. Food does not burn. You just need to make sure there is enough water or oil. When it starts to burn, the multicooker turns off.
Delayed start, multi-cooker. Bowl with handles.
When setting the time: if you scroll through the desired time, you cannot go back. You need to scroll to the end and start over.

What can it cook?

Among all the "smart pots," this model stands out with its futuristic design and functionality. It also offers a variety of programs: with its help, you can not only make soups, porridge (including milk porridge), stew, fry, bake, and simmer food as if in a real oven, but also have the opportunity to prepare diet dishes by steaming, deep-frying, indulge yourself and your loved ones with homemade pastries and yogurt, bread, pizza, pilaf, and other delicacies. Therefore, the appliance is equipped with accessories, including an additional basket for deep-frying and steaming. There are 16 automatic programs, as well as a "multipurpose" function that provides room for culinary creativity, allowing you to select time and temperature independently (ranging from 35 to 170 degrees).

Saving effort, time, space, and energy

Thanks to the non-stick ceramic coating of the bowl, nothing sticks to the sides, and the dish doesn't burn, although you still need just a bit of water or oil. By the way, the appliance not only saves water and oil: users note that it consumes much less electricity than an electric stove. The three-dimensional heating of the bowl allows for even heat distribution so that the food cooks thoroughly, and the 860W power lets it do so quickly.

Convenient functions

The five-liter bowl is large enough to feed a big family at once. The main thing is that to start the process, you only need to load the necessary ingredients, select a program, and wait. For added convenience, there is a delayed start program (you can set it so that dinner is ready just when you come home from work), automatic shut-off, and a temperature maintenance mode (to keep the dish warm). The only inconvenience is a rather short power cord (less than a meter).

Additional bonuses

LCD display (touch control). All inscriptions are in Russian, so it's easy to navigate through the programs. A large recipe book with colorful photos and detailed descriptions is included.

Despite being a Chinese product, it impresses with its functionality and capabilities and pleasantly surprises with its price. With this appliance, you won't need an additional bread maker, yogurt maker, steamer, or deep fryer — it has it all.
