A tent for a tourist is not just a necessary thing, but also very important in two aspects at once - it should be easy to carry, and there should be enough space in it. Based on these two indicators, I chose Totem Summer 2. It consists of an outer polyester waterproof and windproof canopy and an inner nylon fabric body. I am familiar with many tent designs firsthand and a common disadvantage of compact models is the almost inevitable formation of condensation. And what could be more disgusting than wild humidity and wet things in the morning? In this tent, this issue was solved with the help of a double-hull design and a whole system of ventilation valves. There are four of them, they are equipped with Hook-and-loop and are located at the top of the dome. So in terms of condensation, this is the best lightweight tent for the price. Another important advantage of the tent, which you have to carry with you, is its compact size and light weight. And with these parameters, RedPoint Steady 2 is in perfect order. When folded in a complete compression bag, it only weighs 2.8 kg. You need to put it together, but the procedure is simple and can be completed in 15 minutes. And the design also uses high-quality plastic (Duraflex) and metal fittings (the legendary Japanese YKK). For a double tent, not the largest size is a little expensive. |
