How to choose a welding machineKey information about modern inverters and semi-automatic welding machines

Resanta was one of the pioneers in the promotion of inverter-controlled welding machines to the shelves of east european stores. The SAIPA-200 model, used for semi-automatic arc welding in MIG / MAG mode, as well as in MMA mode, is classified as such.

Welding wire

In fact, the unit uses electrodes in the form of consumable wire with a cross section of 0.8 to 1 mm. Instead of a protective flux that does not allow the weld to come into contact with oxygen, a shielding gas jet is used in the work. The inert gas cylinder is connected to the device through a port on the back. It is possible to do without it by resorting to the services of a flux-cored electrode wire.

Useful options

The wire feed speed can be adjusted using the mechanical knob on the front panel. It is peacefully adjacent to the “twist” for selecting the value of the welding current (30-200 A) and the lamps for indicating overload of the device. By the way, thanks to active cooling, the duration of loading the unit in the maximum performance mode reaches 70%. In some instances, the control knob devices can be interchanged, which is found out after the fact of purchase empirically.

Loyalty

The basic version of the 200th model is not without the ability to disconnect the welding torch. Such (non-removable) can be seen on board the modification with the additional index "S". However, the Resanta SAIPA-200 is most often used as a semiautomatic device for fine welding work. The equipment of the device "out of the box" allows you to produce high-quality welding even for a beginner in this difficult path.
